This public access is located on South Fletcher. The access has parking for six or seven cars in a sand lot, and it's a short walk to the water. (map).

The lot gets busy with surfers when the waves get big, as do most of the public accesses on this part of the beach. My Dad and I have fished here quite a bit, and in the past we've caught blues, whiting, small reds, and trout here.

This area of the beach, and north to Access 1 has a lot of rivulets at low tide so it's a good place to hunt for sand fleas.

A bad day of fishing is much better than a good day of cutting the grass.
