Drive into the park past the entrance to the pier to the end of the road, where you'll find the parking lot for the
fort. On either end of the lot, there are dirt roads marked with fishing signs that lead to small parking lots near the water.
This is a good spot to fish for flounder and trout around the rocks. When the mullet are running, it's also a great place
to catch bait.
It's a very quiet spot to fish, not much activity here except for the occasional fisherman. The sand is fairly hard so it's
easy to pull your beach cart the short distance from the parking lot to the water. These pictures were
taken a few hour before high tide. Some of the jetties are under water at high tide, but the contour of the beach makes it very easy to figure
out where the rocks are located.
