Drive into the park past the entrance to the pier and then watch for the Amelia River Campground sign and turn left at that road.
Follow the road to the end, where you'll find two gravel parking lots.
This is a good spot to hide from the wind when the ocean side of the park is very windy. Expect to catch anything here; flounder,
whiting, reds, etc. There is a small cleaning table on a small pier. I would suggest you check the area at low tide to pick a fishing spot, as there
is a lot of junk in the water here; rock jetties (some underwater except at low tide), oyster shells, and an old boat ramp. Use caution when throwing
a cast net here.
This is a very quiet spot to fish, not much activity here except for the occasional camper who is fishing. These pictures were
taken at low tide.
